Serap and Cenk Ikiz made this wisdom their credo when they rented a 160 square meter store in Berlin’s trendy Hackescher Markt shopping district in the pandemic year of 2021 in order to use both the production facility and the sales room for their beauty brand Brewing Beauty Company open. The result is a modern manufacturing store in an urban industrial style with vintage design influences, inspired by pharmacies of the past.
At Brewing Beauty Company, all cosmetic products are made hygienically by hand on site. The team works in the laboratory behind a large pane of glass, visible to visitors to the store. This means everyone can see how skin care, hair care and nutritional supplements are produced. Co-founder Cenk Ikiz is convinced that this innovative cosmetic concept fits perfectly into a time when the beauty industry must increasingly adapt to customers‘ needs for transparency, authenticity and purity of products and fair services. He explains: “We want to offer an alternative to industrial cosmetics that is good for our bodies and does not harm the environment.” His spouse/business partner Serap Ikiz adds: “Brewing Beauty Company is an independent high-street beauty brand that creates small batches of highly effective products with a personalized, seasonal and nutritional approach to skin health right in front of customers.” If you want, you can also use a skin analysis device to determine your skin type on site and have the specialists at Brewing Beauty Company put together the right products for your individual care routine. Brewing Beauty Co. is currently presenting 99 new beauty products from the facial care, body care and hair care segments as well as 20 nutritional supplements. „We consider ourselves to be a unisex brand that offers high-quality holistic skin care for all genders, ages and different skin types and concerns,“ comments Cenk Ikiz. The range is divided into six care series:
Calibrate
Mild care series for sensitive skin. Active ingredients such as baobab, coconut oil, licorice, prebiotics, wild indigo and oat oil are used.
Cultivate
The line is aimed at normal to combination skin. The products contain active ingredients such as marigold, green tea, vitamin C, willow bark extract and are aimed at lightening pigment spots and creating a fresh glow.
Depurate
This range is tailored to the needs of oily and impure skin. Cucumber water, aloe vera, tea tree oil and noni extract clarify, mattify and inhibit inflammatory processes.
Radiates
Dull and tired skin that lacks a healthy glow gets new freshness with borage, hibiscus, cranberry and echinacea.
Renovate
Dry and mature skin receives moisture, tone and elasticity from echinacea, hibiscus, butterfly lilac, sea buckthorn, buriti and turmeric.
For people with facial hair, Brewing Beauty offers shaving cream, shaving oil, after-shave balm and beard oil.
