Brenzy – „brunch“ + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music

Thank you so very much for having me! A mimosa is definitely the vibe for my new song.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

My brand new single “brunch” is out everywhere now! The song is so fun and bright and the perfect start to spring and summer. We just wrapped the music video for it, and it’ll be out in a couple of weeks! I have tons of new music lined up for 2022 and even more exciting things for 2023, so stay tuned!

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

1. I’m always honest. My whole music catalog is like my personal diary.
2. I’ve been writing music since I was 11, but didn’t release my first song until I was 19.
3. Singing on stage and connecting with an audience in person is probably my favorite thing about being an artist.
4.  I want to tour the world one day. Preferably selling out arenas, but I’m happy with whatever stage I’m standing on.
5. All glory is to God.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I would say kind of a sexy tomboy style, even though that might sound weird!

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

Each song has a message of its own and is based off of something different. My newest song, “brunch,“ is just about fantasizing about going to brunch with a group of girlfriends. I’ve always been a bit more reserved and never went out to do fun things like go to brunch. This song is me trying to go outside of my comfort zone and meet a new version of myself that would go out and do those fun types of things!

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I am actually pretty good at basketball, but just way too short.

7. Being on stage feels like…!

Being on stage feels euphoric!

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

My dad taught me some guitar basics when I was little. He would make the chord shapes on the fret board while I strummed, until he eventually taught me how to do it all on my own. I took some lessons here and there, but I mainly taught myself to sing by mimicking the songs and artists that I listened to. Writing just came naturally.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

A question I’ve never been asked in an interview is “What’s the hardest part about being an artist today?” I’d probably say having to be a social media master on top of everything else you have to do as an artist!
