Bram Sutherland x Shockz – „You Gotta Believe“ + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Thank you for having me! I think that will be a ‚Cuba Libre‘. Cut 1⁄2 a lime into four small wedges. Squeeze the juice from two of the wedges into a tall glass. Drop the remaining wedges into the glass and fill with ice. Pour in the rum then fill up with coke and stir gently. Thank me later xx

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

I have just released my new single ‚You Gotta Believe‘. It’s a collaboration with Shockz, a very talented DJ from Germany. It was a pleasure working with him and I am really happy with the outcome of our track. About this year, expect a bunch of new music, remixes and so much more. I really can’t wait to share my musical journey with all of you.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

Damn.. I always wanted to fly an UFO! Imagine going to a festival on another planet!

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Fashion, brands and music have two things in common. They all are very personal and can make you feel good. I really like it when people have a unusual fashionstyle or taste in music. It makes people unique. My own fashion style is very varied. My mood determines my outfit of the day. The one day I really feel like wearing my joggers and hoodie all day. The other day I feel like ‚dressing up‘ and wear an oversized shirt and jacket. So, to all my fans, dress how u like. It makes you unique 🙂

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

Hm, good question. I think a typical Bram Sutherland song is not about a particular topic, it’s about the feeling that comes along with it. My music is about people with the same passion for music coming together and unite. It’s about not feeling alone, feeling strong and feeling loved. It’s about standing for something and never giving up, just like my own mentality when it comes to music. That’s the main message in song link ‚Music In Me‘ and ‚You Gotta Believe‘.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

I am decent at playing darts, but I wouldn’t call it a talent. Oh and I can bake really delicious pancakes. Does that count as a talent?

7. Name 4 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

– I make the best music at midnight, I think…

– I’m a perfectionist in music, not in life

– My grandpa and dad are my biggest inspirations

– I can’t live without music… obviously

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

My dad is also a musician, so I came into contact with making music early on. I taught myself to produce and write my own songs.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Are you a ghost producer? – ‚Booooo 👻‘
