Hi I’m Blake Rose! I’m an alt-pop singer songwriter from Perth, Australia
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My debut EP “A World Gone By” comes out Oct 8th! It is a 7 song coming of age project about some of my experiences so far with Love, childhood, trauma and growing up in the age of social media. I’m going on tour opening for Noah Khana from Oct 14 – Dec 19 !!
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I make cinematic alt-pop music that will make you either want to drive with your windows down or cry over a bowl of ice cream but either way it’ll be a good time. I like being alone and marinating my ideas so that when they come to light they are the best they can be for people to consume. I care about creating a sonic experience that one can dive deeper into with each listen which is why I produce all my own music. I want to create art that attempts to encapsulate the feeling you get when your parents agree to let your best friend sleep over or that sensation of clarity and peace while watching the sunset at the beach. Music that can hopefully become a soundtrack to your life.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I get my heart broken a lot so there’s a bunch of those stories in my music but I also write about subjects like drug addiction, mental health and social media. I always aim to take a unique angle with all my songs, even if they are about love. Most of my music is autobiographical and gives insight into certain events or emotions I’ve experienced or am experiencing in my life but I also love writing stories which take a bit of a poetic license.

I love kitesurfing and snowboarding
