BALR. INTRODUCES NEW INNOVATIVE EYEWEAR RANGE

Premium lifestyle brand BALR. has introduced a new eyewear range that uses proprietary technology of King Children to create sunglasses with zero waste. A laser-based production system crafts each individual frame out of aero-space grade nylon. The innovative technology also enables BALR. to create an eyewear profile that is derived from the brand’s iconic hexagon shape.

SUSTAINABLE & STYLISH

The traditional eyewear industry generates 14 pairs of waste for each pair of sunglasses sold. With the use of King Children’s unique design process, BALR. eliminates waste throughout the entire manufacturing cycle. Leftover material is repurposed and used for the next frame. The laser-based technology has allowed BALR. to create three stylish frames, all inspired by the hexagon, which is an iconic shape in the world of football and the BALR. brand.

We’ve built this product from the ground up with the idea to minimise waste, while staying true to our brand elements and design principles. The result is an eyewear range that is both classic and ground-breaking.

THREE MODELS: AVAILABLE NOW

The BALR. Eyewear range consists of three unique models, two of which are available in multiple colours. The BALR. Hexagon Sunglasses are an inspired fusion of a classic aviator and the hexagon shape. The hero pair is only available in black with smoke grey lenses. Additionally, BALR. introduces a rectangle frame that is available in black or onyx, with lens options varying from smoke grey, brown and gradient smoke. The range is rounded out by the popular P3-shaped sunglasses that are available in black and onyx coloured frames and brown and gradient smoke lens options.

All models feature ZEISS lenses, silver templet tips with black resin inlay in the iconic BALR. logo and a debossed BALR. word mark on the inside of the temple, integrated with a custom-designed premium spring hinge. The BALR. Eyewear range is now available via www.BALR.com and BALR. Flagship Stores in Utrecht (The Netherlands) and Oberhausen (Germany). Prices start at EUR 195 and include a vegan leather travel case and lens cloth.
