They also help to make sure that the park is in functioning order by doing trail maintenance, and they keep an eye out for any kind of natural disaster. Park rangers get to spend most of the day outside, so this job is perfect for anyone who enjoys being outside.
Geological or Chemical Oceanographer
If you love the ocean, becoming a geological or chemical oceanographer is the job for you. This job will have you out in the open seas and in the ocean for several months at a time. An oceanographer will have a wide variety of duties, including studying the chemical makeup of the ocean, watching for movement in the tectonic plates, or learning about tides and volcanic activities.
