1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?

Easy, Arnold Palmer’s. 50% lemonade, 50% iced tea, 100% euphoria

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

Our album “Way Too Much” just came out last week, We’re currently on tour around Ontario to support the release!

August 21th, Poacher’s Arms, London, Ontario

August 31st, Gryphfest, Guelph, Ontario

September 19th, Convergence Fest, Oshawa

3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!

So easy:

We are real best friends who hang out all the time and feed each other.

We work together at a Montessori school where we went to grade school. This is also where we practice.

We are all friends with benefits. We benefit each other every day.

We’re all writing and producing. The songs on the album are brought in by writers individually and then we workshop them in practice, play them around live, and then each add our own touches on the recording until we all feel like it’s one baby that we dressed in the morning before school. So to speak. Most of the songs are about people in our lives, or tight spots we’ve been in. And often we even write songs for each other to sing/ about each other as well.

The rhythm section is single. And yeah. Ready to mingle.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

We’re trying to go for an ancient Chinese silk robe thing. Packing a lot of colours and textures into something that’s hopefully cohesive enough to wrap around your body during festivals and banquets.

5. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

100 bills are real. Mermaids are real. You’re supposed to sit the other way around on the toilet so you can put your cereal and comics on the top.

6. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

More misogynistic sound guys. More five band bills. More broken glass on stickier floors. Stinkier mash pits. Less deodorant. NO green rooms. MORE rouge valley guitar cases. Larger cover fees. Less toilet lids. More mystery liquid. Less parking. Yeah. That’s a pretty good list.

7. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

Here, in a few words, is what each song on the album’s about.

U fold, I fold — giving a friend too many second chances

Venus in the drywall — undying love for marzieh (singer)

Tru Blu — being a fake bisexual drummer

Silk and sleaze — icky men

Do what u wanna — sexual prowess

Only the foolish — being boys in the city

They keep calling — marzieh (singer) being a people pleaser

Fire escape — The things French women can do to you

Disco heartbreak — the things French women can do to you

Doll tears — emotion regulation and dreaming in Egyptian and Sam’s (guitarist) fear of getting old

This night has been unkind — my first divorce

Your next mistake — my first second divorce

8.  A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
