Paul & Shark – capsule collection designed by the artist Bixio Braghieri

For Design Week 2024, Paul & Shark is launching a capsule collection of T-shirts designed by the artist Bixio Braghieri. Through it, the brand is conveying its support for the worlds of art and design, while staying true to its DNA that is rooted in the sea.

“Today, the boundaries between fashion, design and art are extremely blurred. Fashion is fusion. It’s communication. It’s a message of art that should be spread and our message comes from the sea,” says Andrea Dini, Paul & Shark CEO.

The collaboration between Paul & Shark and Bixio Braghieri stems from a key shared detail: the sea. The sea that, with its scents, nuances, strength and lightness, has always inspired the brand’s philosophy and collections. It plays a central role in Bixio’s life too, who has chosen to live by the sea and present ever renewed nuances of sea views in his creations.

This shared ancestral vision of the sea is told through the limited-edition T-shirt Capsule Collection, via an artistic take on the shark, the iconic symbol of Paul & Shark.
Bixio crafts the shark using a watercolour technique with different tones and graphic versions, to become the star of the 100% cotton T-shirts. There are two models. On the first the shark is front and centre, on the second it’s more evocative. In fact, there are brushstrokes that bring the sea at sunset to mind, while the iconic shark features on the shoulders

The colour palette also evokes the sea: nuances range from light blue, to aqua green and sky blue. White is still a staple, suggesting waves crashing on the rocks, as well as iconic Paul & Shark blue.

The Bixio for Paul & Shark Capsule Collection fits seamlessly into the brand’s 2024 Spring/Summer Collection with a clear message of “evolving in continuity”, holding steadfast aspects such as respect for the planet, a love for water and a passion for life outdoors.

This limited-edition T-shirt will be available in the brand’s stores from April 2024.
