MR PORTER is pleased to partner with LA-based brand Cherry Los Angeles on an exclusive, limited-edition capsule launching on 2 September. The 26-piece collection is comprised of a curated ready-to-wear and headwear edit, featuring the sought-after, Americana-inspired pieces the brand has become renowned for.
MR PORTER and Cherry Los Angeles collaborated across the entire process to create an exclusive capsule representing the brand’s greatest hits and championing a contemporary take on iconic US workwear styles, all of which are handcrafted locally in Downtown LA. Outerwear is prominent throughout the capsule, and highlights include a black trucker jacket, meticulously made by hand from panels of velvety suede, featuring a western-style yoke and patch pockets with silver hardware and embroidered details, alongside a beige zip-through sherpa with red panelling and a navy wool embroidered trophy jacket. Standout pieces also include a chore jacket and matching double-knee trousers with printed graphics that offer a nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of an old Western, a bowling shirt playfully incorporating the brand’s Melrose Avenue-store address, and signature denim pieces, including an indigo western shirt and matching jeans with Cherry-logo branding on the reverse.
The collection is rounded out with some of the brand’s best-selling double-knee trousers and mesh sports shorts alongside an assortment of graphic tees and fleeces, including a patch-graphic hoodie and matching relaxed-fit trousers. Furthermore, Cherry Los Angeles’ signature core classics have been updated in new, exclusive colourways.
