Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
Definitely a whiskey on the rocks.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I have a new track and video coming out mid September that I am very excited about. I also have an EP coming out on November 8th!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
That aliens are real. It’s so cool to think that there are other sentient beings out in the universe!
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I’m all about retro clothing. Most of what I wear on stage is thrifted or vintage!
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I write a lot about the existential questions that have come up throughout my life. Whether it be the concept of reality itself, societies fixation on tech, or creating a dialogue with my past self.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I am a competitive gamer at heart, and anyone that knows me knows that I take Fortnite very seriously!
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
Drums are very important to my sound.
I double track vocals on almost everything I do.
I love collecting vintage gear, whether it be drums, synths etc
I never limit myself to making a song shorter, I love taking the listener on a journey.
Everything I write comes from a higher place. I can’t think of an instance where a full track takes me longer than a day to flesh out.
8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I started my musical journey on piano in the second grade. From there, I wanted to get more „rock and roll“, so I picked up bass and electric guitar and started jamming with my friends every week back in high school!
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
I’ve always wanted someone to ask how I got into songwriting.
Back when I was studying music in first year Uni with Berklee College of Music in Barcelona Spain, I was so inspired being around so many creative people. This sparked the idea in my head to give songwriting a shot. It took a few attempts but after a few not so great songs, I thought, hey I’m pretty good at this!
