1. Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
Hello out there. Mensch moritz here. I sing in German and my songs are about hangovers, toxic relationships, fears. So the very normal life.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My album release is on 20.8. on Spotify and Co. There are raw material shortages on vinyl, but the record is coming out. I hope this year. There are videos too. Just enter Mensch Moritz on YouTube.
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
Moved around a lot. I went to 7 schools in 4 Bundesländern. So I was always more of a spectator than part of the gang. Maybe that’s why I have a different view of the world.
And even though I moved around so much, I did my A-levels. Oh, and I had zero faults in the third grade bicycle test.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Breezy, summery holiday look. And a cocktail glass is always welcome as an accessory.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
The songs are about the junkie Heaven, about toxic relationships and saying goodbye to them, about working yourself silly, about rotten hangover Sundays, about getting lost in yourself, about fears and that it’s better to drink a coffee with them than to run away from them, about the difficulty of letting yourself be loved when you don’t love yourself and about advice to your daughter.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I am a father of a 19 year old daughter, I make a really good pizza and I can fart like hell 😉
7. Being on stage feels like….!
“Hello can the monitor be a bit louder, I can’t hear myself. And for the sound I had to be here 2 hours before? Why? I’ll have to talk to my management about that. Oh, I don’t have a management. Well, there’s nothing you can do about it.”
8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I started doing it.
