For the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Marina Hoermanseder embarks on a journey into the unknown. With *Outer Space*, the designer creates a futuristic universe where curiosity, imagination, and the courage to change set the course. Inspired by the infinite expanses of the cosmos, the collection tells the story of strong female figures who leave familiar boundaries behind to explore new worlds. The looks blend protection and transformation: armor-like elements meet glossy chrome lacquer, ice-blue leather, and sculptural silhouettes. At the same time, the brand’s signature „Twisted Buckle“ technique makes a comeback.

Twisted buckles replace traditional stitching, while contrasting layers of leather add depth and dimension to the designs. As futuristic as the collection appears, it also sees Marina Hoermanseder returning to her roots: natural leather—a defining material of her early designs—meets sculptural forms and orthopedically inspired elements reinterpreted through draping. The *Hyper Physicality* vase translates exaggerated anatomical ideals into a deliberately stylized design language, casting a critical eye on toxic masculinity. Iconic buckles, studs, and hardware remain integral to the collection, imbuing the looks with the designer’s unmistakable signature style.

With „Strap Pants“ and „Strap Shorts,“ the brand’s characteristic strap elements are interpreted for menswear for the first time. Earthy natural tones meet vibrant orange, while blue and green Swarovski crystals reflect the depths of the universe. The „Lunar Landscape“ technique, inspired by the textures of moon rock, runs throughout the collection, giving the looks the appearance of artifacts from a distant galaxy. The highlight is the Alien Vase, featuring orthopedically inspired head and arm elements—a tribute to Marina’s time with Alexander McQueen and his legendary Plato’s Atlantis collection. At the same time, the look turns its gaze toward a future that lies beyond our imagination. Outer Space invites us to think beyond the limits of the conceivable and reminds us that the most exciting ideas often emerge where our imagination ends.
