Jonathan Roy – „Nice To Meet You“ + Exclusive Interview

Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

I would say water or Chateau Le Puy 2017!

Please give us an update about — new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?

The new single is called “Nice to meet you”. We just filmed the acoustic video on a frozen lake with the whole band. Wild experience! Please check it out Youtube. New album coming out after the summer named “Symphony of Doubts”. We will be on tour all over Europe from May 10th to the 9th June!

We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I am all for Aliens putting us on this planet for a big experiment

What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I feel my music is its own thing so I struggle to compare it to anything. It’s free and constantly evolving.

Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

My songs reflect my life and the events around me, covering everything from personal struggles to the search for purpose. I aim to capture the thoughts and emotions swirling in my mind, expressing everything that needs to be voiced.

Beside music, do you have any special talents?

You might not call them special talents, but I excel at rock climbing and diving. I played professional hockey until I was 20, and I’m capable of building a home from the ground up.

How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I write my own songs speaking from truth. Im an independent artist under my own label. I love touring as Im constantly meeting and connecting with people around the world. I play guitar and little bit of piano.

A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?!

What would I be If I wasn’t a musician?

I love movies and Ive always wanted to create and act in a movie.
