1 Hello, thank you for your time, please introduce yourself in a few words!
I am Jaguar Jonze, a musician, artist and advocate from Australia.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My next release will be April 8th for my new single “Trigger Happy” and I am working on my album debut that will be released this year.
3. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I love directing, producing and editing my own music videos
I also art direct and am involved in all of the visual artworks from album & single covers, press photos to merchandise
I have a visual art project called Spectator Jonze and a photography project called Dusky Jonze
I play a little bit of flute
I’m self taught in everything I do so I have terrible technical knowledge in music and art haha
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Christian Louboutin and Balenciaga – timeless visual storytelling with a street credit and badass
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
For the last two years I’ve been an advocate in fighting for a safer environment within the music industry, as a leader of our own #metoo moment. This meant that I had to sacrifice my artistry to advocate. With my new music, I wanted to take back my power, take back my voice and take back my artistry. I wanted it to represent my anger, where my boundaries now lie and display my fight and resilience. Survivors together, with our voice and strength, have created real change and this time I get to use my music and art to speak my truth.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I can say the alphabet backwards – but otherwise all my time is taken up with the music, art and photography.
7. Being on stage feels like….!
Freedom!!!! I love how raw, intimate and connected I feel on that stage to be able to express through my voice and body. Sharing that energy with the audience is my favourite feeling.
8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??
I fell into it after my close friend passed away and I needed to put my grief somewhere. From there it was just learning through doing, and I’m still learning everyday.

I have a 2016 Ducati Classic Scrambler and a 1984 Suzuki TS185 and would really love a Harley Davidson Sportster if they’re reading this 😉
