Each season, Columbia’s Heritage collection tells a different story from the Pacific Northwest. For Fall/Winter 2026, the collection takes us to Sauvie Island near Portland, Oregon. The island is defined by river channels, meadows, reeds, and diverse birdlife. This landscape serves as the inspiration for the new Sauvie Sky™ pieces.
The color palette of the Heritage pieces draws from the Sauvie Island landscape. Tobacco brown, muted natural tones, yellow, and select orange accents evoke reeds, earth, dry grasses, and the region’s traditional attire. Nature-inspired motifs appear in various prints and details.
The collection’s highlight is the Sauvie Sky™ Quad Parka IC Jacket, inspired by the Super Quad Hunting Parka from 1988. This new version combines the vintage model’s distinctive silhouette with waterproof Omni-Tech™ technology and an Interchange system.
