“PROBLEMS” is David Catalán’s new collection for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. The concept stems
from a study of traditional crafts from rural Portugal, with a particular focus on manta alentejana textiles
and the pastoral use of guizos (herding bells). These material and visual references are reinterpreted into
contemporary pieces, where functionality and utilitarian construction intersect with elements of strong
cultural identity.
The collection explores the contrast between rigidity and fluidity, past and present, and reinforces the
designer’s signature approach of blending traditional codes with the urban aesthetics of streetwear. The
result is a visual language defined by relaxed and comfortable silhouettes.
