In the snowwear category, BURTON is focusing on new seasonal products, authentic storytelling, and strategic partnerships to further boost the category’s relevance and engage the community across various channels. The spotlight is on products that combine performance, innovation, and the brand’s distinctive spirit.
BURTON also impresses in the midlayer and insulation segments with functional PERTEX materials, smart construction, and versatile utility. The result is a range of products that perform reliably both on the mountain and in everyday life. The Reserve Midlayer is a lightweight insulated jacket designed for versatile use within a layering system. It offers reliable warmth without the bulk, packs down compactly into its own pocket, and is ready for action whenever temperatures fluctuate. Thanks to its water-repellent finish and clean design, it looks great worn on its own, too. As a high-quality synthetic insulation piece, it also offers an attractive entry-level price point for this product category.
[ak] Collection: Waterproof performance down to the last detail
For the Fall/Winter 2026/27 season, the [ak] collection remains the benchmark for timeless products designed for the most demanding conditions, combining various styles to suit a wide range of mountain environments. A key focus this season is the most significant relaunch of the 2-layer styles in years: the Cyclic and Swash models now incorporate numerous technical features from the 3L line, delivering uncompromising, next-level performance while streamlining the product range—with the Cyclic serving as the shell option and the Swash as the insulated choice. This update is complemented by the new „Rider-Wrap-Fit,“ featuring a cut and seam placement specifically engineered to adapt to the rider’s movements and ensure maximum mobility, free from restrictive excess fabric. Designed for long days at the resort, the Cyclic shells utilize a GORE-TEX® 2L ePE membrane with recycled nylon, while the insulated Swash styles—featuring PrimaLoft® or down fill—strike the perfect balance between warmth and performance.
The Tuvak styles, featuring GORE-TEX® 3L C-Knit, prioritize low weight, high breathability, and maximum freedom of movement, whereas the Acamar models with GORE-TEX® Pro Shell stand out for their durability and versatile all-mountain performance. Additional comfort is provided by the Kimmy Jacket—featuring GORE-TEX® 3L Stretch and a warming tricot lining—and the Hover Jacket, which utilizes breathable GORE-TEX® 3L C-Knit. The lineup is rounded out by the Freebird and Kimmy bibs, offering reliable weather protection and optimal mobility.
Off-Mountain Apparel with On-Mountain Styling
Even away from the slopes, BURTON combines functional details with the distinctive look of snowboard culture. The Fall/Winter 2026/27 season focuses on new materials, revamped styles, and fresh design approaches. Graphic elements draw inspiration from the artwork found on select snowboards, reinterpreting it in a modern way. New additions to the line include the Crown Riding Hoodie and the SpaceCloud collection, featuring ultra-soft spacer-knit fabric and contemporary silhouettes. The breathable material—a blend of Tencel™ Lyocell and recycled polyester—feels exceptionally soft against the skin on both sides, ensuring a light, airy feel. At the same time, the structured silhouette gives the pieces a clean look, blending the comfort of a classic fleece with a modern, versatile style suitable for everyday wear.
The range is further complemented by an update to the popular Oak line, featuring modernized materials and a redesigned look. A new birdseye piqué outer fabric with a matte finish lends the styles a contemporary, premium aesthetic without sacrificing the signature soft, comfortable feel.
The off-mountain collection is rounded out by new everyday jackets for men and women. With the new Winslow Insulated Jacket for women and its counterpart, the Garrick Insulated Jacket for men, BURTON brings a relaxed look to everyday winter life. In collaboration with key partner brands, the company is also advancing the Step On® ecosystem, underscoring its commitment to creating innovations that continually elevate the snowboarding experience.
Snowboards – Performance and Individuality in Every Size
By introducing a wider range of graphics across select signature models, BURTON is expanding the aesthetic diversity of its lineup and offering the community new avenues for self-expression. A variety of designs and graphics allows riders to find products that reflect their unique style—without compromising on functionality or performance.
At the same time, BURTON is further highlighting its freestyle DNA. Rider-driven storytelling and close collaboration with park and street riders underscore the brand’s commitment to quality, durability, and reliable performance. This enables riders to focus on what truly matters: creativity, style, and the freedom to define their own expression on the board.
The revamped Process board impresses with a new shape—specifically, a more progressive sidecut—and a lighter core construction for increased pop and responsiveness, alongside two striking „Good Dog“ and „Bad Dog“ graphics. Additional sizes in both Camber and Flying V™ versions make the board accessible to an even wider range of riders.
Furthermore, the Talent Scout now features the same new core construction as the Process, marking its return to the winter sports scene.
With the new Family Tree Time Thief, BURTON introduces a versatile all-mountain shape designed for European Alpine conditions; it combines playful handling with high stability and makes a visual statement with artwork by Mexican artist Bosco Sodi.
Bindings and Boots – Comfort and Control in Perfect Harmony
BURTON is consistently expanding the Step On® system for Fall/Winter 2026/27 with numerous enhancements. New Step On® Re:Flex™ baseplates and heelcups—featuring a brand-new design, improved cushioning, and optimized footbed construction—create a unified platform across the Step On® portfolio, including the new Step On® Cartel X and Lexa X Re:Flex™ models as well as the updated Step On® Genesis and Escapade. At the same time, the revised Step On® X Re:Flex™ binding delivers even more direct handling and precise power transmission, thanks to new Step On® Heel Grabber components. The system is further complemented by the evolution of the new Highshot and Waverange Step On® boot collection, which gains a new „PLUS“ category and a revised „X-Tier,“ creating additional price points. The integrated Ankle Hammock will now be featured in the two premium models—X and X-Pro—providing superior heel hold and added comfort. Additionally, new Waverange models are launching in the strap binding category, available in three versions: X, X Pro, and Plus.
