Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
Dosenbier (canned beer) or Someg (Soju+Beer Combo)
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Now that our latest single “Trost & Scherben” is released and we are about to play our last show of this festival summer, it’s time to head into our rehearsal space and write a ton of new music! We’ve been looking forward to this for quite a while to be honest.
It feels a little bit like we are in a trial year for this band, because we are experiencing a lot of first times.. we just played our first ever shows together; released a first single; shot the first music video as a band. Apart from that we are also working on publishing a short documentary that captured the last couple of years before the band formed. Tour planning is also in the works.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as a band?!
Most of us bonded over our (not so lovely) experience in the music industry with cis-men.
We strongly believe that representation matters.
Arrogance sucks. Being respectful is cool.
For a band that makes music about serious topics, we are pretty unserious people haha.
We love gummy sweets and sometimes our groups mood can be a bit all over the place!
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Grab a cute old shirt from the back of your closet that lets you reminisce, crop it and maybe cut off the sleeves a little bit.
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
Aliens laughing about the human species and that Bigfoot is real. I wonder what stories Bigfoot could tell.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
uff, where to start?! Closing the gender pay gap; more female and non-binary acts on festival stages; taking away leverage and the monopoly position of Spotify; major labels actually doing ground work for small artists again; more state funding for independent artists, labels, event locations and rehearsal spaces… the list goes on and on.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Amina touches on multiple topics in their lyrics. They have written songs about queer love and heartbreak, gender dysphoria, corrupt politicians and a fucked up music industry, and even shared some life advice like how you should never hook up with your ex.
A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
We actually have a question hehe! We are still looking for a name for our tour van and need good suggestions! So please hit us up, if anything comes to your mind.
Some hard facts: The van is dark blue Ford Transit, it drives smoothly, our drummer Gabschi has developed deep feelings for this van but we are still not sure whether it’s a girl, boy or a they/them.
