1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
Vodka tonic, two ice cubes. Simple, clean with a little bite to it.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Right now everything is building towards Welcome To Brownsville. A place shaped by heartbreak and hop. We’ve already started that journey with records like Scars and Glory and Golden,
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
ET for sure. The idea that we’re not alone and there’s something else out there watching, learning and possibly understanding us better than we understand ourselves. That’s kinda comforting in a weird way.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I would say a bit oversized and classics. Im a mix between Zara and Cos style. With a bit of edge to it.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I make life music. It’s about giving sound to the things people don’t always know how to say out loud. Heartbreak, insecurity, pressure, healing and hope. Welcome To Brownsville Is that space you step into when life gets loud and you need to hear yourself again. It’s where you sit with the truth, but don’t stay stuck in it. There’s always a way forward in the music. Always something to hold onto.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I enjoy cooking, and pretty good at it. I make really good KC style BBQ Ribs.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
Everything I write comes from a real place, even if the story isn’t directly mine.
Brownsville isn’t a concept, it’s somewhere I had to create to get through things.
I care about how people feel after the song more than just how it sounds.
I’m big on honesty. If it doesn’t feel real, It doesn’t make the set list.
Song Ideas come to me as a melody first.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
My mom and dad. Always, through every version of me, every doubt, every win. They have been steady the whole way
What’s your favourite London takeaway?
Honestly, it’s got to be KFC. It just hits different here compared to the US. The flavour feels cleaner, more real, like how I remember it tasting back in the day before everything got overly processed.
