Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
I’d recommend my listeners to sit back and enjoy a Chai Latte while listening to my music.
Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
Things are pretty exciting right now! I’ve just released the PENGWIN & K Remix of my latest single, „Doing To Me,“ from my EP project that dropped earlier this year. The music video has already racked up over half a million views on YouTube and continues to climb, which is really thrilling.
Tour wise, I’ll be supporting B Praak on his UK tour starting on 20th September. Additionally, I’m also excited to share that it’s just been confirmed that I’ll be supporting Atif Aslam on his UK tour, kicking off in Glasgow on 6th September and wrapping up at Wembley OVO Arena on 8th September 2024. You can find all the tour dates on my Instagram (@vish.music). Last but not least, I can confirm that there will be more music before the end of the year so stay tuned for any official announcements!
We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
Harry Potter, without a doubt. I’ve always wanted to go to King’s Cross and jump on the Hogwarts Express to visit the most famous school of wizardry.
What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
I’m quite passionate about different genres of music, so it’s tough to pin down just one specific style. However, if I had to describe my music, I’d compare it to the outfit that makes you feel most confident—it’s all about creating that vibe where you feel your best.
Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
Each of my songs is unique in its own way, the way I wrote them with PENGWIN & K usually stems from how the music made me feel at the time. For the last EP project (BELIEVE), much of the inspiration came from the rhythm and excitement in the music, this really drove the creative process and generating a feeling that was all about going out and just having a great time with friends.
Beside music, do you have any special talents?
This might sound a bit crazy, but sometimes when I dream at night, it feels like I’m being given a sneak peek of what’s going to happen before it does. I’ve had numerous dreams where things I saw ended up happening the very next day or shortly after.
Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
a.) You’ll hardly ever see me without a bottle of water.
b.) My team always teases me for this, but I try to avoid talking before and after my shows to rest my voice.
c.) Coffee is one of my guilty pleasures. It’s not great for my voice, but I just can’t resist.
d.) I’m an extrovert on stage, but in my daily life, I’m actually quite introverted.
e.) When I’m in the studio, I prefer recording in the dark.
The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
To be honest, I’ve never had any formal training in singing. I taught myself by practicing countless songs and studying my favourited singers. In my experience, the best way to learn anything is to practice every single day.
A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
How I started singing Bollywood songs on the streets of the UK instead of English songs.
It all began with my love for Bollywood music. While most street performers here focus on English songs, I wanted to bring something different to the table. With encouragement from my girlfriend, I started singing Bollywood songs on the streets of the UK, allowing me to share a piece of my culture with a diverse audience. The response was incredible, and it felt like I had found my unique voice in the UK music scene.
