VEJA and the Brazilian brand Carnan present a joint collaboration centered around the Salar model, which celebrates the richness of Brazilian nature.
At the heart of the collaboration is Brazil, the source of most VEJA materials and the production location of all Carnan products.
At the intersection of design, craftsmanship, and nature, the Salar model draws on the color palette of the Amazon region.
Two variations interpret this inspiration differently: One version features warm, earthy browns, reminiscent of dry soil, dust, and natural pigments.
The second combines various shades of green with purple accents, reflecting the diversity of local flora, from trees and blossoms to fruits.
Textured materials and handcrafted details, such as embroidered logos and distinctive cross-stitch, lend depth to the design and underscore the collaborative approach.
For the sole, VEJA, in partnership with Vibram, developed an innovative sole made from Amazonian rubber and bio-based materials derived from sugarcane. The model is manufactured in Brazil. The collaboration is unisex, costs €195.00 and is available now.
