As an official partner, UNION GLASHÜTTE is supporting the Petro Surf Festival 2026 on Sylt—an event taking place from June 26 to 28, 2026, that brings together air-cooled sports cars, Californian surf culture, and urban lifestyle. To mark this partnership, the Saxon watchmaker is presenting the Noramis Date Limited Edition Petro Surf 2026—a special mechanical model inspired by an iconic wheel rim design and limited to 200 pieces.
This marks the second time UNION GLASHÜTTE has participated in the Petro Surf Festival on Sylt, an extraordinary event that draws international enthusiasts of air-cooled sports cars, music, design, and urban living to the North Sea island. Set against the backdrop of the Sylt coast, classic engineering, a laid-back lifestyle, and a passion for culture converge.

To celebrate this partnership, UNION GLASHÜTTE is expanding the Noramis collection with a strictly limited special edition. The Noramis Date Limited Edition Petro Surf 2026 is limited to 200 pieces; of these, 25 watches feature a high-quality print of the official event logo on the case back—an exclusive detail that further highlights the special connection to the Petro Surf Festival.
The design centerpiece of the watch is its striking dial, inspired by an iconic vintage car wheel rim. Small screw details evoke wheel nuts, while black PVD-coated rim spokes stand out in three dimensions against the black dial. These distinctive vintage automotive details underscore UNION GLASHÜTTE’s close bond with the world of classic vehicles, making the watch a characterful collector’s piece.

The case measures an elegant 40 millimeters, has a slim profile of 10.4 mm, and sits comfortably on any wrist. A discreet black date disc is positioned at 6 o’clock. To enhance legibility, the hour, minute, and second hands—styled in the retro look typical of the Noramis line—feature white-tipped sections. Meanwhile, the greenish Super-LumiNova® coating and luminous markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock ensure optimal visibility, even in low-light conditions.
A domed sapphire crystal paired with a slender bezel further accentuates the watch’s nostalgic character. The design is completed by a black leather strap with a suede-like finish, rounding off the overall sporty-elegant aesthetic.
Inside the Noramis Date Limited Edition Petro Surf 2026 beats the UNG-07.S1 mechanical movement, featuring a silicon hairspring and delivering high precision, reliability, and a power reserve of at least 60 hours.
