Compact, dynamic, and exceptionally expressive—this is how the sophisticated Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase now presents itself, featuring a skeletonized dial. In its latest iteration, this sporty chronograph combines a more compact 42 mm case size with deep, revealing views of its inner mechanics, appearing for the first time in a steel-blue dial design.
For the first time in the history of UNION GLASHÜTTE, the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase is released in steel blue—a masculine, cool shade of blue inspired by the aesthetics of finely finished stainless steel. Depending on the incidence of light, this color accentuates either the depth of the dial or the openness of its skeletonized architecture, thereby underscoring the model’s sporty, technical character.
The further development of the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase focused on achieving greater technical depth and dynamism, without sacrificing the line’s signature design language. The skeletonization of the dial offers a fascinating glimpse into the movement: a finely crafted honeycomb structure—reminiscent of the radiator grilles found on classic automobiles—highlights the model’s sporty, technical nature. This open design proves particularly impressive during the setting of the moon phase, when the intricate mechanics hidden beneath the dial become fully visible.
Despite its open architecture, legibility remains guaranteed at all times. The indices and minute markers are treated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring optimal readability even in the dark. As a distinctive detail, the numeral indices are 3D-printed and deliberately designed without borders; they glow across their entire surface area, charge efficiently, and combine modern manufacturing techniques with high functionality.

The complex display architecture of the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase remains clearly structured and organized. The date, chronograph functions, and moon phase display blend harmoniously into the skeletonized dial, creating a fascinating contrast between technical openness and classic watchmaking artistry. In this context, the moon phase display serves as a distinctive accent within the watch’s technically inspired design.
Inside beats the automatic caliber UNG-25.S1, boasting a power reserve of at least 65 hours; thanks to its innovative silicon balance spring, it remains largely unaffected by magnetic fields. In short: sporty on the outside—packed with extra power on the inside.
The new Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase is rounded off by a stainless steel bracelet that consistently reinforces the model’s sporty character. Its precisely crafted links ensure exceptional wearing comfort while simultaneously underscoring the chronograph’s striking presence—whether in everyday life or on special occasions.
