Athletic heritage meets Parisian fashion: a capsule collection marking Under Armour’s 30th anniversary, designed by the visionary who turned the bodysuit into a generation’s uniform.
Base layers are arguably the most intimate garments of modern times. From locker rooms across the globe to the runways of Paris—when styled correctly, the base layer dissolves the boundaries between sport, streetwear, and couture. On June 5, 2026, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its base layer line, Under Armour is launching a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with the Parisian fashion label Marine Serre.
The pieces in the Under Armour x Marine Serre collection feature a strictly black-and-white palette. At the heart of the collection lies a specially developed hybrid print: Marine Serre’s crescent moon motif integrated into Under Armour’s „Heartbeat“ logo. This is no mere decorative compromise, but a graphic manifesto of two brands that view the elegance of the human body as the starting point for product design.
A stylish revolution in movement and athleticism

The cuts are radically minimalist: form-fitting base layer tops and leggings that utilize Under Armour’s HeatGear® technology to wick away sweat and regulate body temperature, while their proportions and lines embody the sculptural aesthetic characteristic of Marine Serre’s Parisian atelier. No ornament without function; no function without aesthetic intent.
„Sport has always been a part of my life. With Under Armour, I wanted to highlight the beauty of movement through styles that blend performance, precision, and aesthetics. The starting point was the base layer—a garment that hugs the body perfectly and reflects the experiences of athletes,“ says Marine Serre, founder and creative director.
A Collection, Several Highlights
The capsule collection also celebrates the return of the UA Proto Speed II, a running shoe originally released in 2008. Marine Serre’s team has reworked the original performance silhouette with sculptural leather panels and added silicone branding (Under Armour x Marine Serre) to the heel and instep. It is not a retro reissue, but rather a design concept from the archives placed in a new context.
