1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
Thanks Twisted Male Mag!! Well I’m a red wine drinker – it’s my creative juice so that will always be my vibe. I do love a good tequila/mezcal based cocktail though if I wanna turn things up!
2. Please give us an update about your new single „Toy Proof‘ and upcoming album?
My new single is out Friday 18th September, along with the music video, which was shot at Salton Sea in California. So many great art installations there! You can find me on all platforms, and the video will be on YouTube. The album “Trains, Planes & Airports” is out October 9th and I have a live performance in London (where I’m from) on October 15th for the release party!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I wish that time travelers really appeared in old photos. I’ve often fantasized about time traveling and would love to think someone had achieved that. It could be possible if there are multiple dimensions surely?!
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Well there are some darker sides to my music, especially some of my earlier tracks, so I’m going to say my favorite designer – Alexander McQueen- Theatrical. Rebellious.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
All my previous songs are about life experiences or people. From getting through abusive relationships, to overcoming using alcohol as a crutch, not having to prove who you are to people, the isolation of lockdown, or my Dad’s hateful final words to me…The message is no matter how dark it gets, you can always get through it. It’s your choice.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I trained as an actress and have been in a few TV shows/films along the way under my legal name “Jennifer Moxham”
I can pitch my way into establishments!
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I’ve lived in London, France, Los Angeles, New York and Hawaii, which has shaped my tastes and influences.
I didn’t even know I could write songs until my late 20s. I always composed classical music.
I actually like writing on my own. I get into the zone with my red wine when I write.
Sometimes melodies and lyrics just arrive in my head. The chorus for “Toy Proof” came while I was driving to pick up my Mum from the hospital. I was in the middle of her city in Bristol, England and had to pull over to voice-record it!
I am also a film producer under “Jennifer Moxham”.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
I have some incredible friends and an excellent team who are my rock! I’m lucky enough to have people who I can call at any hour. Not everyone gets that.

What’s the best way to combat stress?
Take a long walk alone in nature- no phone, unless you’re using it for music (which is crucial to me!).
