Ten c – The Emperor’s New Clothes – PRESENTS ITS S/S 25

Perfectly consistent with the brand’s founding values, the collection stands out for the way it skilfully blends military inspiration with contemporary elegance hallmarked by meticulously curated, hand-crafted details.

Brand designer Alessandro Pungetti draws much of his inspiration from uniforms and their functionality, building on the research carried out for the FW 24/25 collection. The military world and uniforms, known for their hard-wearing and durable nature, are the starting point for a collection that explores alternative worlds, combining practical, functional elements with a sophisticated, urban aesthetic.

The reinterpretation of the Aviator Flight Suit best represents the mood of the collection: a compelling fusion between the iconic aviators’ uniform and urban contemporary style. Starting from the structure and its functional features, Ten c adds details and design elements that make it wearable for everyday. Aluminium zips, which recall flight suits, add a touch of modernity and practicality to the garment, allowing for easy adjustment and an aesthetic that aligns with current trends.

The brand also continues its research with the introduction of new cutting-edge materials, such as tone-on-tone water- repellent resin-coated linen and garment-dyed nylon gabardine with a metallic effect, which renders apparel technical without compromising on style. The new fabrics join Ten c classics, such as OJJ, tactel nylon and three-layer heat-sealed cotton/nylon.

Meticulous attention to finishes remains a constant, as does the in-depth study of special treatments such as Natural Wax and Natural Old Dyed on OJJ, which give each piece a unique character as well as a used appearance. The Jeans Jacket, Fly Jacket, Woodland Jacket, Anorak and Dress Jacket are the 5 pieces in the collection that best express the versatility of these processes.

Added to these is Shadow Dyed Spray treatment used across different materials, which guarantees further colour nuances and personality through a trompe l’oeil effect, and makes each garment unique. Some of these processes are also applied on T-shirts, bottom ups and sweatshirts which complete the Ten c total look, deeply showing the spirit of the brand.

Even the colour palette is consistent with the essence of the brand, the shades range from chocolate brown to work khaki, navy blue and asphalt grey. There is no shortage of touches of neutral colours ranging from ice white, and splashes of aquamarine/blue obtained with mineral dyes.
