For The Devil specifically, a gin and tonic with a twist. Given the lyric „when we all love our gin“ it’s basically written into the song. For the album Contrast, we need a bottle of Pinot Noir to enjoy.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
It’s all happening! Yes, my single The Devil just came out, it’s about temptation and I am inviting you to discuss it. My new album comes out July 29th and will also be released on Vinyl so pre orders have begun. I am so excited to finally share this album. I also have new videos to release with my beautiful band who will be playing with me at my Album Launch August 8th at Wax Music Lounge, then followed by international shows at Ubud Folk Festival in Bali and Chengdu Sister Youth Music Festival in China!
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
That cats are secretly running an ancient civilisation and are just humouring us by living in our houses.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
An opp shop! Big hearted, honest, worn with love, always finding something different, super friendly and warm, not perfect but comes with a strong message. Also doesn’t want to be boxed into one vibe but has a little something for everyone.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
With the newest single ‚The Devil’, I had a clear subject I wanted to discuss. I was thinking of temptation as a representation of the Devil. Not necessarily as a physical being, but as anything that pulls us away from who we’re meant to be. I believe we’re all walking our own path with purpose, and along the way these temptations appear, trying to distract us. They can take many forms: addiction, ego, fear, unhealthy relationships, peer pressure, or anything else that draws us away from our values.
Contrast is the album I promised myself I would make no matter what. And I did, it just took relationships ending, savings running out, producers not getting it, a pandemic, and a long quiet stretch alone in 2023 to finally prove it to myself.
The title says everything. Where the lyrics carry loss, heartbreak, and survival, the music answers back with warmth, groove, energy and soul. Dark moments, bright sounds. Pain turned into something you can actually dance to. Because that’s what life asks of us, to hold both at once and keep moving anyway. This is an album about contrast. And about the fact that we don’t get to choose what happens to us, only what we make of it.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I am very good at undoing jewellery that is tangled. I like to keep fit and go for a run. I am a really deep thinker who loves philosophical thoughts & concepts.

I am completely self managed & booked.

I have a large vocal range 4 octaves including whistle tone

Vocal looping is my absolute jam but I also play instruments

I love my band, I wrote all the music & lyrics for this album. My dream is to connect my solo vocal looping show and the band show together which I have been doing.

What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done as an artist – not the most impressive, the bravest?
Busking! One of the hardest things to do. Even now, after everything, the festivals, the competitions, the stages, busking remains the most vulnerable thing I do. Strip away the stage and the lights and what you’re left with is the purest version of what it means to be a performer.
