1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
I’d say a glass of wine, a hot coffee, or a warm cup of tea with honey…anything that makes you slow down and listen with intention and connection.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I’m so excited to finally release my new single and video for “Heart Strings.” This song was written probably 3 years ago and recorded 2 years ago. It is an honest reflection of love, longing, and connection to the people and experiences that shape us.
My next single is called ‘Rubbish’ and releases August 18th. The video comes out September 1st! This is another song that has been in the vault but for much longer, probably 7 years at least.
I’m writing two projects with new cowriters at the moment. One is a continuation of my soulful sound, and will be a 4 song EP. The other project is a continuation of my house/dance song and will likely be a full album.
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true?
People come into your life when they are meant to and when they are no longer meant to be aligned, you don’t run into them anymore. However – I fully believe this so I don’t know how much of a conspiracy this is!
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
A blend of timeless elegance, effortless confidence, and touches of elevated cool and vintage chic. An outfit that you can wear to a vibey speakeasy, listening room, or a classy event.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
I write often about love, heartbreak, self-discovery, healing, and the experiences that connect us and make us human. I try to root my style in storytelling. “Heart Strings” explores the various stages of a relationship from start to finish to moving on to reminiscing.
I mostly write about my own and my friends’ experiences, sometimes I venture off into a fantasy land or random inspiration. In general though, I aim to write in a way so others can relate and see themselves in the situation because the experience is part of the collective conscious experience.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I’m a DJ! I am also a UX researcher and educator, so I love understanding people, human behavior, and how we experience the world – which explains my love of culture and travel.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

I have two main projects – soul/blues/jazz/r&b sound; and dance/house sound

I am classically trained – took piano lessons for 8 years and singing lessons for several years as well

It is easiest for me to songwrite with other songwriters (rather than writing on my own)

I have an interest in production and can tell an engineer or producer what sounds I want, but I have no interest or skill in engineering

I love sharing knowledge and giving back as a music mentor to various organizations
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
My biggest support has come from my parents when they realized I was musical at the age of 5. I started piano lessons and singing lessons and continued cultivating my creativity over the years. After college, my dad sent me an audition for what ended up being the first band I was ever in back in 2013. That was the start of my professional music career.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
Question: If your music was a color, what would it be?
Answer:
I think my soulful music would be a hue of golden amber, like the color of sunlight just before sunset. It represents warmth, nostalgia, passion, a good memory, and those fleeting feel good moments that you want to hold onto forever. My music lives in that space between reflection and hope, where there’s a mixture of vulnerability and light.
