Scandi chic meets big city energy with the new AW25 collection from SAMSØE SAMSØE

For 25.03, human connections stand at the very centre ofour collection. While the previous seasons saw us enjoy the early morning hours and their quietness or escaping the city in the summer months, this one touches on our close personal relationships even more. We are exploring these connections on an even deeper level, looking at how they are created
and how they are upheld.

This is taken up by the styles of the collection which have been inspired by these bonds, putting the focus on long- lasting and meaningful designs that are set to become forever favourites. These pieces show themselves in new materials that are long-lasting but also need a lot of care – in the same way that our interpersonal relationships do. From yak on

the knitwear, more (recycled) leather pieces, and corduroy silhouettes, these timeless fabrications never go out of style and can become true wardrobe staples if the measurements for their upkeep are taken.

Playing with the idea of touch and a warm embrace, the focus for womenswear rests particularly on softness. Supple suede forms a miniskirt as well as a jacket and is present across the accessory selection, while knits make up a big group of the collection, ranging from sweaters in the new yak quality to a new take on the popular Sajeanne line. The outerwear of the season presents longer takes on elegant coat silhouettes with the Sajill and Sajilla styles, a renewed collaboration

with the responsible wool manufacturer Manteco®, and a directional dip-dye version of the now iconic Salylo cow jacket – accompanying us across the full spectrum of events we are attending with our friends. But our newest friend of the season arrives in the shape of a new denim silhouette, the Salella jeans with a bootcut leg and a lower waist.

The longevity of the connection we create with our favourite pieces is made possible by the use of leather across central styles of the season in menswear: styles such as the Sacliff x jacket in a washed brown and the Saruffo x c overshirt are set to become long-term acquaintances. For men, too, the familiar denim range grows to include a newcomer with the Satimothy presenting in a wider fit than the existing line of jeans. Having proven a crowd favourite, the Sajeanne cardigan from the women’s selection arrives for men as Sajean, staying true to the soft quality and popular two-way zip. One of our oldest friend, the classic stripe pattern, joins us as an updated take with a wide version in colourblocking style across tops.

Within the accessories of the collection, an extended line of bags provides companions across all sizes and occasions to complement the ready-to-wear of the season. The Saemmi silhouette is presented in premium suede, a bright red shade, and a larger version that is crafted to carry all everyday essentials and beyond. For men, the new crossbody Saluis sling bag becomes the city dweller’s best friend, while the footwear reflects the focus on leather with the Samarius and Firo Chelsea boots and Sanireas x shoes that guarantee a versatile range. The Sabrenta boots and Safredda loafers offer themselves up as the perfect pairs to polish all seasonal womenswear ensembles off – no matter whether they are taking you on a night out with friends or to brunch the morning after.

Stretching across both the women’s and the men’s collection, the idea of human connection and belonging is also expressed within the graphic prints of the season. From hands touching to the typography on these unisex styles, our relationships with each other stand at the centre of the collection with a particular focus on platonic love and friendship.
