1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
I would say something refreshing like a soda or beer.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
My Debut Album ‚Sunflower’ comes out on May 22nd. An Album which is somewhere in-between 70s Soft-Rock and Indie-Folk. I’m also on Tour in Germany this year! You can check out the Dates on my Website www.paulholland-music.com/shows
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
That Elvis and Michael Jackson are still alive.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
Well the Album is totally inspired by Soft Rock of the 70s. So I would say a lot of Flannel and Denim. Maybe Levis.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
The whole Album is about a person I dated for a long time and about letting go and finding myself again. Every song symbolizes a different stage of grief.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I know its cliché for a musician but I’m a rather good barista and also a good basketball player.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
1. I was brought up by an English dad and a German mom.
2. I’ve been trying to make it in music for 10 years of which I spent nearly all of them primarily earning my living off of busking.
3. I’ve been playing the guitar for over 22 years now (28 now)
4. I have a nerdy obsession with guitars and collect them. I have one which is nearly 80 years old.
5. I lived with my grandad for 2 years. He taught me so much about music and life.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
I would say first of all my family. My parents and my brother always supported me and never urged me to do something else.
Then secondly my Manager Gerry. Without him I’d still mainly be busking in the streets.
