Lunor presents its new spectacles for opti

opti, the international tradeshow for optics & design, is still a few weeks away – but the Black-Forest spectacles manufactory Lunor already whets the appetite for the trends of 2025. Included are the new arrivals of the acetate lines A5 and A11 that emphasize strong shapes and unusual colors.

The young collection A11: new shapes and colors for expressive statements

The combination of big, elegant silhouettes, fine lines, and narrow spectacle rim makes the A11 a real eyecatcher in the Lunor portfolio. The young line presents itself both stylish and style-defining with a multi-faceted variety of shapes and colors. New variants are added now that provide an expressive look

Masculine. Striking. Adventurous.

The masculine, striking model 460 has a clear design language, classic aesthetics, and durability. Its earthy nuances that set the fashion here are also confident and strong: Volcano Grey Melange Matte (76m), Earthy Brown Melange Matte (77m), and Olive Green Melange Matte (78m) awake the spirit of adventure and show determination.

Feminine. Glamorous. Of strong character.

The new “Butterfly” shape 461 exudes glamourous refinement, feminine ease, and a touch of Hollywood aesthetics of the 60s. It combines charming gracefulness and a touch of eccentricity, while the new arrival 462 recalls the 1920s with its round glasses in classic panto style propagating reserved retro chic. Both frames shine in the nuances Misty Rose (79), Sundrift (80), and Evening Glow (81) that underline the dreamy aesthetics of the models with their trendy two-tone looks.

“With these two frames, we made a conscious decision to use colors that emphasize the soft elegance of the spectacle shapes and are able to manage the balancing act between vintage style and timeless modernity,” explains Michael Fux, CEO and Head Designer of Lunor.

In addition, the unisex spectacle frames of the line are expanded by soft color gradients of popular shades: The colors Black Forest Green Gradient (82), Vintage Blue Gradient (83), and Vintage Grey Gradient (84) create a balance between nostalgia and modern understatement.

The popular A5 line: with even more vision now

It has been part of the range of Lunor for more than 25 years now, and it is among the absolute bestsellers: the A5 collection. The all-round talent combines balanced design language and most precise craftsmanship. The special double-rivet hinge is a characteristic emphasis and identification of the brand.

The new shape 612 is added to the diverse variations of the popular acetate line now. With its striking square character, it resembles the classic 605 but is more spaciously designed providing maximum vision by its dimensions (glasses: 54mm x 40mm). The extended temple (155mm) provides more comfort and space for those that consider the existing models to be too limited.

Into the blue.

Various models of the A5 line also get an exciting color update with three new shades: Ocean Blue Crystal (85) recalls the endless expanse and depth of the sea – a shade that exudes ease, clarity, and freshness. Ocean Blue Matte (85m), on the other hand, brings along the calm of soft waves with unpretentious and stylish elegance. Inspired by rocks and stone formations, Dark Grey Matte (41m) enhances the color range with a nuance that stands for durability and classic modernity.

All acetate models by Lunor have the seal “made in Germany” and are manufactured in Southern Germany. The entire manufacturing process – milling the spectacle shape out of the acetate sheet, riveting, assembling and polishing – encompasses more than 200 working steps, and is realized at Lunor with a lot of work done by hand and craftsmanship.
