Loro Piana – Back to School – Fall/Winter 2026-2027

As late summer transitions into early autumn, it is time for a carefully curated transitional wardrobe featuring new accents that complement the shift to cooler weather and the return to city life. The focus is on modern silhouettes that are ideal for everyday wear and offer versatile styling options.

The collection showcases new iterations of Loro Piana Icons—pieces that blend tradition, impeccable craftsmanship, functionality, and timeless elegance.

Leading the lineup is the Spagna jacket in Pecora Nera®, introduced in 1998, which combines supreme comfort and freedom of movement with relaxed elegance. Also featured is the Maremma bomber jacket in soft suede—a modern take on the iconic country jacket, named after the Tuscan region of the same name. Trench coats, distinctive blazers, and other signature styles round out the autumn wardrobe.

CashDenim®—an exclusive blend of Japanese denim and fine cashmere—is the ideal companion for the transitional season. Crafted in Japan on rare vintage looms, this luxurious material combines the functionality of denim with the warmth of cashmere. The „Back to School“ collection is rounded out by chambray pieces, straight-leg jeans, and sporty jackets in various shades of blue.

Lightweight fabrics and relaxed silhouettes create an air of casual ease, while tweed and felt jackets add a touch of rustic elegance. At the same time, the collection highlights the Maison’s expertise in working with exceptional wool fibers such as Pecora Nera®, Sopra Visso, and Merino d’Arles. The color palette evokes an autumn forest walk, featuring rich, earthy hues ranging from brown and beige to rust red, burnt orange, and moss green.

The „Back to School“ campaign featuring Kim Woosang and Libby Taverner was shot by photographer Sam Rock at the historic Sorbonne in Paris. The academic setting and its centuries-old pursuit of excellence reflect the collection’s values and provide the perfect backdrop for a stylish „Back to School“ moment.
