In the evolutionary path Lardini is tracing with coherence and vision, The Code of
Making marked a key moment: a manifesto of identity that places the act of making
at the core—as a value, a culture, and a driver of innovation. It is from this visual
and design-driven statement of intent that the Autumn-Winter 2026/27 collection
takes shape. An aesthetic born of material, technique, and memory, where
excellence is not only the final result but the process itself: a crafted gesture that
intertwines with cutting-edge technology, and a loyalty to roots that becomes a
thrust toward the future. Le Origini thus represents a new chapter in this narrative,
continuing to assert craftsmanship as the founding code of the brand, and as a quiet
yet determined response to a changing world.
Reconnecting with one’s essence is not a nostalgic act. It is a statement. In a
fragmented, image-saturated, hyper-fast and intangible era, the need for what
endures—what carries weight, substance, depth—becomes a choice of value.
Le Origini, the Lardini Autumn-Winter 2026/27 collection, is an act of elegant
resistance against the ephemeral and the shallowness. It is an invitation to dress
with awareness, to find meaning in the details, direction in the materials, and a silent
kind of beauty in consistency. It is not about turning back, but about grounding
oneself. It is about recognising the past not as a limit but as confirmation of one’s
skills. About understanding that modernity is never detachment, but perpetual
evolution—where the new flourishes when nourished by memory.

Luigi Lardini states: „Le Origini is the conscious narration of our language. The goal
is to enhance the tangible quality of the product and the perception of a discreet
luxury. Essential forms, exclusive fabric constructions, natural colour palettes, a
balance between sartorial tradition and present-day practicality. Authenticity and
balance for a sophisticated, intimate, credible mood. ”
The collection unfolds through four interwoven narratives: from Contemporary Tailoring, where sartorial heritage meets essential lines and modern functionality, to Iconic Outerwear, reinterpreting timeless garments through artisanal construction enriched by technical innovations; from the enveloping warmth of
Knitwear Layering, designed for harmonious overlays of refined textures, to
Sophisticated Casual, transforming the everyday into a refined yet relaxed approach
to everyday style.
Each expressive area reflects the brand’s whispered elegance and refined
craftsmanship: calibrated volumes, invisible seams, and meticulous detailing lend
each piece an aura of quiet quality. The garments are designed to communicate
with one another: a fully integrated style system where each element combines into
coherent, balanced looks thanks to a unified vision blending tailoring and
innovation.

Everything begins with fabrics. Not as mere raw material, but as a place of
sensitivity. The research is deliberate, experimental, almost spiritual: full, airy
carded wools, brushed flannels with a warm, dry hand, mouliné yarns fused into
melted effects that soften chromatic contrasts into liquid shades. The vanisé
technique (where colour is woven into the yarn’s very structure) creates vibrant
surfaces capable of evoking emotional depth. Jaspé yarns break into organic micro-
weaves, while ultra-fine 18-thread silk takes knitwear into new territories of
intimacy and precision. Salt-dyed velvets, brushed flannels, and dry wools offer
body without weight, consistency without constraint.
Details also matter: tone-on-tone piping, sartorial technology inserts, discreet laser
cuts that update the archetype. The trench coat, the Ulster, the overcoat all find a
new voice in double cashmere, brushed wools, and faux-fur-effect wool processing.
The “jersely” is reinterpreted as knitwear for the outdoors, embracing comfort.
Everything moves along an axis of continuity and innovation. The silhouettes are
clear yet soft, designed to follow the body’s natural lines without ever stiffening it.
There is no desire to impress—only an urgency to remain true.
Le Origini does not close a cycle: it opens one—rooted in the present, with the clear
and calm gaze of those who know where they are heading.
