JOHN GALEA’S – ‘THE ART OF COLLABORATION’ + Exclusive Interview

1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Oh I would probably recommended any kind of Cocktail – Long Island or a Mojito as it’s a combination of alcohols that work in a collaboration together just like my new E.P

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

I have a new E.P out now Called ‚ the Art Of Collaboration‘ that features 3 new songs and 3 remasters of some older songs. All have the theme of having a collaborator on from Rappers, Scorcher, Ironik, Maya Miko & TJ Dreamz to Singers as Nate James & Hannah Long.  There’s two new music videos that have been released for Don’t Wanna Die featuring Ironik that was shot on a rooftop in East London & my first Animated music video for the track ‚Old School Love‘ featuring soul singer Nate James.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

Probably that Bigfoot is real. I used to watch Harry & The Hendersons and Harry always seemed to be a fun Bigfoot to have around.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

Stylishly Bold with a lot of Gold Thrown in.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

All my songs that I write are based on relationships, people or situations so I guess Honesty is a big thing in my songs. Also I do like to give a positive message where I can

so songs like ‚I Am A Survivor“ Or ‚Trailblazer‘ are all upbeat positive messages.

6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?

Before I did music full time , I used to work in many different jobs and one was where I was. Barrisiter – I can make a really decent cup of coffee in 2 mins with the right mike frother and bean grinder!

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

1.Born & Bread in Norfolk In the beach village of Caister On Sea in  Great Yarmouth.

2. Classically Trained Electric Organ & Pianist

3.I write all my songs from a piano

4.My Debut album is nearly ready to release!

5.) Influencers range from Billy Joel & The Bee Gees to Diane Warren & Mariah Carey.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

One day my Dad brought home an Electric Organ he found and I started to teach myself how to play chords etc and it just grew into having lessons,

doing all the Classical Grades and then morphed into writing Pop Songs.

9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

Why have you only released E.P’s and not a Full Album yet?

Answer – Mainly because as an Independent artist it’s a lot of budget to put in to making a full album/promo music video’s etc  & I am a bit of a perfectionist – so over the last 6 E.P’s I have dropped one or two tracks from an E.P from time to time as a taster of me as an artist to my fans as to what is coming up. I think we are just about ready to release a full album – it’s very exciting!
