For the fourth consecutive year, Etro presents Etro Summer, a selection of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories inspired by the dreamy atmosphere of an Italian vacation, which is also evoked in the vibrant visuals that complement the collection.
Etro’s creative flair is evident in the exquisite customizations and decorations: art-nouveau
prints, floral motifs, paisley designs, and fil coupé weavings coexist and sometimes blend in
with the typical Etro shirt stripes. Jacquard finishes create a lively kaleidoscope of sunny
and vivid colors, reflected in the beachwear proposal inclusive of caftans, shirts, sarongs,
and bikinis or one-piece swimsuits accessorized with coordinating scarves, Shelley
bandeaus, and bucket hats.
Women’s looks for summer are fresh and lightweight, in tailored fabrics like silk twill, thin gauze, gabardine, and poplin, embellished with jacquard finishes and Sangallo embroidery. Silhouettes are fluid and versatile, from essential outfits with blazers over shorts and pants to special dresses with ruffles, flounces, and balloon sleeves. The Etro man, on the other hand, opts for shirts to wear with Bermuda shorts and swim shorts in aquamarine shades or multicolor variations in bright tones.
