JIL SANDER’s Olfactory Series 1 is expanding: six new fragrance creations deepen the connection between
everyday life and the realm of fantasy, between simplicity and complexity. These new scents transport us to
uncharted territory—unique olfactory dimensions clearly defined by aldehydes, the collection’s signature
element. They transform familiar impressions into extraordinary aesthetic experiences—ranging from the
crisp freshness of a morning walk to the sensation of weightlessness in the sea.
The fragrances were developed in collaboration with the brand’s creative direction by nine of the most talented up-and-coming and established international perfumers. Their vision: to transform the everyday into an aesthetic experience and achieve the ultimate in expressive power by capturing the allure of personal memories, images of life in nature or familiar surroundings, and the essence of places and objects. Driven by boundless creative freedom and a desire to offer customers surprising and meaningful experiences. The result is a series of formulations defined by the radical olfactory signature of aldehydes: flashes of light that streak through the fragrances, amplifying the scent notes and the interplay of key ingredients to lend each natural element the perfect intensity and new avenues of expression. reflects the brand’s spirit: distinctive yet comforting. This woody-green fragrance is defined by its
bitter, neon-green character. The delicacy of Australian sandalwood and the radiance of upcycled
real lime round out the scent, while juniper berry—obtained via CO2 extraction—expresses the
crisp, fresh energy of shiso leaves. An ode to the splendor of nature and its gifts.
JIL SANDER Salt

on the skin; shimmering rays of light on the sea’s surface. In JIL SANDER Salt, aldehydes
transform these sensations into a kaleidoscope of sparkling, tangible mineral textures. This invigorating, amber-
aquatic fragrance strikes the perfect balance between the zesty notes of upcycled cardamom, the
creamy texture of CO2-extracted vanilla, and the freshness of French lavender. A scent that feels like

JIL SANDER Lily

Surprised by a captivating fragrance on a warm evening in Florence. Lilies are white, sensual flowers
that release their scent primarily after sunset, in the dark. These are fragrances that cannot be extracted directly
but must be recreated by combining various ingredients—as seen in this new, majestic floral perfume
of white blossoms, which captures the ephemeral and makes it enduring. The aldehydes in JIL SANDER Lily
bring the flower’s metallic, blooming facets to life, while the floral power of CO2-extracted Arabian jasmine,
the warmth of Vietnamese benzoin, and the verticality of upcycled cypress lend structure and balance
to this passionate, radiant fragrance.
JIL SANDER Sesame

and nuances. It marks the beginning of a quiet obsession, born from a shared moment of joy and
giving. JIL SANDER Sesame is a woody gourmand fragrance that transforms black sesame into a passionate, velvety experience—a creamy, comforting texture. The roasted notes of an upcycled cocoa shell base*,
the smoky undertone of CO2-extracted oak wood, and the elegance of US cedarwood blend
to create a full-bodied, sensual, and long-lasting fragrance experience. Meanwhile, aldehydes create a tangible

JIL SANDER Mahogany

ranging from red to black, and earthy, dark elegance, the mahogany is one of the most fascinating
trees. JIL SANDER Mahogany is a tribute to this extraordinary expression of nature—a fragrance
that blends upcycled cedarwood with the deep, leathery facets of Indian cypriol, the vibrant, spicy notes
of CO2-extracted ginger, and aldehydes that reveal their full range of nuances and depth. A rich,
sophisticated woody-leathery scent that elevates mahogany to a new level.
JIL SANDER Vanille

plays with the duality of vanilla. Its dark, deep facets overlay the enchanting sweetness we
usually associate with vanilla. A surprising and fascinating discovery. JIL SANDER Vanille is an amber-leather
fragrance crafted from upcycled cedarwood and exquisite vanilla obtained via CO2 extraction. Its leathery facets accentuated by the balsamic notes of Spanish labdanum—unfold in all their depth thanks to aldehydes
that permeate both the top and base notes. Angelic, sensual, and mysterious all at once: a
