1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?

Hey! Thank you so much for having me. I recommend an ice-cold lemonade. It should be very sour—the perfect summer drink, in my opinion.

2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!

My debut single, “Running,” has just been released—along with a music video. It’s the first of many songs, and I couldn’t be happier to finally share it with the world. I’ve been working on the music for a long time and feel like this year is finally the right time to get everything started.

3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)

I’ve fallen into the rabbit hole on social media lately that pigeons aren’t real and are spying on us all because they’re robots. There are lots of very amusing videos on the internet. This is kind of a trend right now – wake up! I wouldn’t want the theory to be accurate, though; I prefer the idea of E.T. living in a house in California.

4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?

I like effortless street style, comfy clothes, and colorful accents. A bit of purple here and there, some playful ideas in a sometimes grey world, makes me happy.

5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?

Of course, I write about love – the joy of falling in love, the pain of heartbreak, and the loss that has been a part of me since my best friend committed suicide. I sing about loneliness, addiction, death, and hope. It’s very personal stuff, sometimes hidden between upbeat, happy songs. I’d say my music is optimistic because, in the end, life is about love!

6. Besides music, do you have any special talents?

Honestly, not really. It’s a bit boring. I wish I would. I always envy those who are extremely good at painting. I paint too, but always “abstract” ‘cause I’m the worst realistic painter ever; I’m not kidding. I can cook some tasty dishes, though.

7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!

1. 90% of the time, I write with a piano ‘cause this is the first instrument I learned.

2. I love catchy melodies and choruses.

3. Recording and arranging backing vocals is my guilty pleasure.

4. I love contradictions. Happy music and beat, thoughtful lyrics, for example.

5. I would love it if a song of mine became a soundtrack to your daily life.

8. How did you learn to sing/ to write/ to play??

I started to play piano when I was five. I had lessons and practiced classical and jazz piano while teaching myself to write songs and sing. Pop music has always been a kind of escape for me – I love getting creative and explorative, getting my thoughts out. I must have written my first song with ten or eleven and never stopped since.

9. A question you’d like to answer but have never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls

I love talking about the creative process of making music, but most of the time, there is not enough time to dive into it. But another thing that brings me back to question number one:

“If your music were a flavor, what would it taste like—and why?”

Sweet, sour, and catchy at first, but there’s always a little sting or twist underneath. I like my songs to sound like a pop dream on the outside, but if you really listen, the lyrics hit a bit deeper and leave you with an aftertaste.
