G-SHOCK presents the latest highlight of the GMW collection, featuring a rainbow-colored, all-metal design and a MIP display. With the new limited-edition GMW-BZ5000RC, G-SHOCK combines iconic design with premium materials and intelligent features.
Developed in collaboration between watch designers and AI, the GMW-BZ5000 series boasts a new high-resolution, high-contrast MIP display and has been on the market since 2025.
Now, with the new GMW-BZ5000RC-1ER, G-SHOCK takes the conceptual and technological design of the series to a new level. The stainless steel case of the GWM-BZ5000RC features a dazzling, rainbow-colored ion plating (IP) that symbolizes the evolution of the brand. After applying a gold IP primer, the IP coating is applied in a two-stage process, resulting in impressive color depth and brilliance. Design elements such as the iridescent, vapor-coated glass and the four gold IP-plated front screws underscore the watch’s futuristic beauty.
Furthermore, each individual component is finished with different surface treatments—from fine brushing to high-gloss polishing—to reveal contrasting textures and highlight the unique feel and depth of the metal. The design emphasizes the stainless steel watch’s presence, radiating both strength and beauty.

G-SHOCK DNA: Absolute Toughness
The shock-resistant, all-metal construction features a top/bottom-connected bezel and an integrated resin protection system. The artfully sculpted, interlocking metal components, the front screws securing the bezel and case middle, and other details combine to create a distinctive look unlike any other G-SHOCK. While the design draws on the iconic shape of the original G-SHOCK, it represents a completely new style of all-metal G-SHOCK.
The watch features the proven 3-prong lug connection of the GMW-B5000 and the same screw-down case back as the very first G-SHOCK.

MIP-LCD: Flexible Digital Display
The digital display utilizes a high-resolution, high-contrast MIP-LCD with a wide viewing angle. This allows for a more detailed display than conventional LCDs and provides excellent readability even in bright daylight and direct sunlight. The high-resolution full-dot display offers four time modes, selectable at the touch of a button. Additionally, the main display font can be switched from standard to classic via the app to achieve the traditional 7-segment display.
Made in Japan
This watch was manufactured in Japan, in Yamagata Prefecture, CASIO’s „Premium Manufacturing“ facility, where the first G-SHOCK was produced in 1983. The GMW-BZ5000RC-1ER boasts state-of-the-art features such as smartphone link connectivity, automatic multi-band 6 radio control, and sustainable Tough Solar charging.
