With Velvet Violet, Dries Van Noten Beauty reimagines violet through an unexpected pairing with roasted sesame. Fresh, green and subtly fruity, violet leaf meets the warm, toasted richness of sesame to create a fragrance that feels both luminous and enveloping.
Created by perfumer Gaël Montero, the scent opens with pink pepper, unfolds into notes of sesame and barley, and settles into a glowing base of vetiver and tonka bean.
The refillable bottle reflects that same dialogue. Deep purple glass meets a graphic sesame-inspired base, transforming the fragrance into an object of colour and design.
