Ciro – „COLUMBINE“ – A fragrance that celebrates sensuality and authenticity

New York in the Roaring Twenties – Jacob S. Wiedhopf, a son German immigrant, founded the fragrance house Ciro, which with his Passion for fragrances and his unbridled creativity experienced a success story as one of the first niche fragrance brands of the avant-garde.

Wiedhopf’s creative approach combined with courage and uncompromising is also reflected in the creation „COLUMBINE“.

Columbine, the seductive lover of Harlequin in the Italian theater of the 16th to 18th centuries, embodied authenticity and sensuality like no other. She emphasized her femininity in a flirtatious and self-confident manner, and her seductive power lay in her undisguised honesty.

„COLUMBINE“ pays tribute to this open-hearted female figure by capturing her characteristics olfactorily.

Fresh citrus notes open the Eau de Parfum, accompanied by pink pepper that lights up the fragrance stage. The heart of the fragrance consists of silky powdery iris and peach-like osmanthus, supported by vanilla-kissed suede and the softness of musk. Neroli provides sweet nectar, while delicious bourbon tobacco, vetiver and balsamic-sweet benzoin complete the irresistible composition.

The bottle shines in a solid metal lid covered with real gold in an elegant glass design and is reminiscent of Ciro’s beginnings in the golden 20s.
