1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to zip on while they listen to your new music?
I’d recommend a freezing cold glass of coca cola!
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
I recently released my debut single “Burning Up” and a music video for it too! You can listen or watch on Spotify/ YouTube!! (blairgilmour)
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
I don’t know if it’s harmless, but I wish the whole aliens in our solar system conspiracy was true. I think they would be pretty chill!
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
This is a hard one but I think the rustic vibe of Carhartt suits my music pretty well!
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
My latest single is about being SO in love with something/ someone that you’re willing to destroy yourself for that tiny bit of validation.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I can make a pretty mean roast dinner to be honest.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?
5 things people should know about me as an artist would be that: I play 5 instruments (and counting), my favourite band of all time is undeniably Catfish & The Bottlemen, My favourite singer/ artist at the moment is Mk.gee, I produce songs in my room & I’m a normal everyday Scotsman.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
Without a doubt my parents are my biggest supporters on the road so far and undeniably always will be.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
A question I would like to be asked in an interview but haven’t been yet would be “Blair, what have you had to overcome to get to where you are just now?” and my answer to that would be “I’ve had to overcome many things like: being judged for standing out the way of what’s considered normal for a boy my age or the torment that not only I suffer but near enough every emerging artist faces.”
