The third and final iteration of the highly coveted Above The Clouds and ASICS GT- 2160TM collaboration will launch this Friday, 23rd August in two new colourways, black and white.
Transitioning away from the vibrant colourways of the initial releases inspired by Japanese nature and urban landscapes, the final release will focus instead on minimalist colour palettes, with a sharper focus on the use of experimental materials incorporated into the sneaker’s design.
Like its predecessors, the third iterations will retain its transparent upper, contrasted by chromatic tiger stripes, tonal mesh panelling and matching laces.
In keeping with the heritage trainer’s iconic design language, the Above The Clouds X ASICS GT-2160TM sneaker will maintain its traditional wavy forefoot sculpting and GEL technology for advanced cushioning underfoot.
The final iteration of the Above The Clouds X ASICS GT-2160TM sneakers will launch exclusively at Above The Clouds on Friday 23rd August.
