The Aquaris Diver is perfectly suited to the times. It withstands high pressure, offers reliability, and looks great to boot. This new diver’s watch from the Junghans factory is built for ocean exploration—and is now available at jewelers, ready for adventure right on your wrist.
An uncompromising instrument watch with specialized features
It offers impressive technical depth for diving. This starts with the striking cushion-shaped stainless steel case. With a diameter of 46.9 millimeters and a lug-to-lug measurement of 46 mm, it is remarkably compact and sits comfortably on the wrist despite its size. It is water-resistant to 50 bar—equivalent to the pressure at a depth of 500 meters—ensuring complete peace of mind during scuba diving. A centrally positioned guard protects both screw-down crowns from damage. The crown at the 4 o’clock position handles winding and time-setting, while the crown at 2 o’clock operates the rotating bezel. A technical highlight is the bezel’s placement beneath the sapphire crystal, ensuring both superior protection and secure operation. As is essential for a diver’s watch, it rotates only counter-clockwise. This bezel helps divers safely conclude a dive and plan critical decompression stops.
The Aquaris Diver features a high-contrast dial designed for optimal legibility, even in challenging lighting conditions. The dial is finished in a matte dark grey, while the bold hands and applied indices are generously coated with X1-grade green luminous material. True to the standards of a genuine diver’s watch, the first 15 minutes on the rotating bezel are highlighted in color—available in either vibrant orange or green—matching the outline of the arrowhead on the minute hand. The second hand, which serves merely to indicate that the movement is running during a dive, is visually understated to reflect its secondary role.

Movement with magnetic field protection
Powering the watch is the precision-engineered Calibre J830, an automatic movement exclusive to Junghans. Here, Junghans honors the tradition of fine watchmaking by refining even those components that remain hidden from view. Mechanical enthusiasts will appreciate modifications crafted by Junghans specialists, such as a proprietary train bridge, as well as a custom rotor and balance cock. The Calibre J830 offers a power reserve of 48 hours.
As a serious instrument watch, the Aquaris is shielded against magnetic fields. Magnetism can negatively affect a movement’s timekeeping accuracy—and, by extension, a diver’s safety. To prevent this, Junghans engineers have equipped the Aquaris Diver with a soft-iron movement housing. This assembly comprises a movement retaining ring and two special soft-iron discs positioned between the movement and the case back, as well as between the movement and the dial. The entire mechanism is protected by a solid steel case back, engraved with a motif of a school of fish swimming in the ocean—a reminder of the environment where this watch feels most at home.

Bold look. Robust straps.
The Aquaris Diver is available with a choice of a three-link stainless steel bracelet or a synthetic rubber strap. The solid steel bracelet underscores the watch’s striking appearance and masculine character. For underwater use, it can even be worn over a wetsuit, thanks to a folding clasp featuring two extension options: the standard folding extension found on many diver’s watches, which adds 26 mm of length, and Junghans’ proprietary ratchet adjustment system, offering 22 mm of travel. The latter can be easily adjusted while the watch is on the wrist. A ball-click locking mechanism prevents the clasp from opening accidentally. A quick-release function allows for simple and rapid strap changes. A high-quality synthetic rubber strap is also included; to ensure this can also be worn over a wetsuit, a diving extension is supplied. Both the rubber strap and the extension feature pin buckles.
With the Aquaris Diver, Junghans delivers technology with real depth. Even in everyday life, it serves as a reminder that you could dive into the ocean depths at any moment.
