AERO Elite – Skechers launches its first highly advanced „super shoe“

With the AERO Elite, Skechers redefines what matters most in running. The latest addition to the AERO series makes its global racing debut today. This marks a milestone for the brand, as it is their first „super shoe“ designed for distances ranging from 5K runs and competitive races all the way to the marathon. While exceptionally lightweight, it delivers maximum responsiveness along with the signature comfort for which Skechers is known. Engineered to win, the AERO Elite provides the performance that runners of all levels need to achieve their personal bests.

„The Skechers AERO Elite is the result of years of innovation in elite-level running—it is our most technically advanced running shoe to date and a clear statement of intent as we look toward the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles,“ said Catherine Zou, Senior Director of Product Development at Skechers.

The Skechers AERO Elite is equipped with advanced technologies and materials designed to maximize performance on every run:

Exceptionally lightweight: The shoe weighs 167g (men’s size 42.5) or 142g (women’s size 37) and features a sole stack height of 40mm–36mm.

Hyper Burst Pro™: An ultra-lightweight foam used in the insole and midsole, providing a supportive and responsive ride.

Quantum Plate™: A full-length, carbon-infused plate engineered for powerful propulsion and maximum energy return.

Hyper Arc® technology: A unique sole geometry that promotes natural running efficiency by ensuring a smooth transition from heel to toe with every step, helping runners maintain peak performance from start to finish.

Precise fit and traction: A breathable, woven Jacquard upper—featuring a Performance FitKnit® tongue and serrated-edge laces—ensures a secure lockdown, while the Lite Grip™ TPU outsole provides reliable traction and durability on any surface without adding extra weight.

Designed for all conditions: Reflective material around the laces enhances visibility and safety when running at night or in low-light environments.
