WOOLRICH BLACK LABEL SPRING/SUMMER 25

For his second collection as Woolrich Black Label’s Global Creative DirectorTodd Snyder has reimagined Woolrich’s storied heritage, traditionally rooted in woolens and outerwear, for the warmer seasons. Crafted under his bold vision, this 60-piece collection brings modern, luxurious interpretations to classic field clothing—fishing jackets, trekking shorts, trail running jackets, and more. Designed with the Pacific Northwest’s climate in mind, these pieces feature advanced technical fabrics. Many styles are layerable, ideal for days that transition from foggy mornings to sunny afternoons and cool evenings. The collection also includes water-repellent and convertible designs, such as nylon cargo pants that zip off into shorts.

“Woolrich is revered worldwide for its iconic contributions to the menswear canon —the Buffalo Check Shirt and Admiral Richard E. Byrd’s Arctic Parka,” says Snyder. “The challenge for this collection was to bring that same authenticity to warm-weather gear. I wanted to extend beyond the aesthetics and topographies of New England. I drew inspiration from the lush forests, wild rivers, and rugged coastlines of Oregon, imagining a Spring vision for Woolrich that celebrates national parks, wide-open spaces, and nature’s beauty.”

Despite their rugged appearance, the fabrics are premium, featuring cashmere shirts from Bacci and seam-sealed foul-weather gear made from Olmetex’s Ripstop nylon.

Sportsman’s Lodge, theme of this collection, embodies the evolving intersection of outdoor gear and luxury lifestyle. “Call it ‘WanderLuxe’ or ‘Rugged Luxury,’” says Snyder. “Just as gym clothes evolved into athleisure, we’re seeing a shift in menswear where sophisticated, stylish individuals are wearing technical wilderness clothing for both the office and dinner outings. This collection is designed to excel both in the field and in urban settings.”

Dynamic prints enhance military tones and monochromatic hues, adding a kinetic edge to the collection. Key colors include military greens, deep obsidians, and earth tones, contrasted with vibrant citron yellows and bright olives. A modern take on camo introduces fire oranges and gold highlights for a bold, contemporary flair.
