1. Thank you very much for your time! Before we introduce your new release to our readers – what kind of drink would you recommend to sip on while they listen to your new music?
A well-seasoned tomato juice.
2. Please give us an update about – new single, new album, tour dates, new videos?!
After 4 years of hard work, I just released my full length original album, Birdeater, produced by my husband, Ricardo Gifford. The album celebrates raw production with minimal editing.
3. We live in times of many conspiracy theories. Which, harmless, theory would you wish were true? (For example Dinos living inside Earth or E.T. living in a home in California)
There was a rumor going around back in the day that Paul from The Wonder Years was actually played by Marilyn Manson. It’d be cool if was true.
4. What fashion style or brand would best describe your music?
My music would be a knitted sweater with the image of a spider on it. And a small stain from my tomato juice.
5. Tell us more about your songs! Topics! Message!?
These songs were all written with movies I love playing in the background, so they all have a little bit of cinema to them. This album is about life’s struggles and choosing to get out of the prison you put yourself in.
6. Beside music, do you have any special talents?
I am an amazing movie watcher and kid’s voice imitator.
7. Name 5 things we all should know about you as an artist?!
I love David Lynch; I love pigeon’s nest making abilities; I don’t like when artists take themselves too seriously; I take pride in my eclecticism; Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter is amazing.
8. The road so far…. who or what was your biggest support??
Marilyn Manson messaged me showing support for our cover of his song, Man That You Fear and our original song DTP.
9. A question you’d like to answer, but never been asked in an interview before?! + Answer pls
I’ve been staring at this question for 20 minutes. So I’ll go with the first thing that popped in my head. If you’d ask me what’s the biggest mistake we made as a society, it was convincing men that they should dress in shorts and graphic t-shirts instead of suits and tailored pants.
