What began over 100 years ago with the founding of a rubber factory and the focus on handmade, durable and timeless rubber boots has now developed into one of the best-known brands for outdoor shoes. With the Fall/Winter 24/25 collection, the label presents a skilful mix of tried-and-tested classics, new and further developed models as well as modern, seasonal colourways. Together with long-standing, carefully selected partners such as GORE-TEX, BOA and Primaloft, Viking is committed to giving everyone access to a worry-free adventure – whether in the city or on the trails – even on days with challenging weather conditions.
The Urban Explorer collection for men and women combines a versatile urban look with function. Thanks to the water-repellent GORE-TEX membrane, the shoes reliably keep out moisture. The models are also particularly light and equipped with a cushioning EVA midsole, making them the perfect companions for an active everyday life. The ergonomic, stable fit, additional support on the ankles and the rubber sole with a firm grip also enable use on longer walks, whether in the city or in nature.
Viking’s passion for outdoor adventures is of course not limited to active city strollers, but is also aimed at all nature lovers who feel most comfortable hiking on the mountain and in the forest. In order to be prepared for all requirements and all terrains, Viking’s product range includes everything from classic hiking boots such as the Cerra Hike in various versions to urban-inspired models as well as high-performance models such as the styles of the Constrictor series, which are suitable for hiking in snow and ice suitable. The Stride line stands out as an innovative new product in this year’s fall/winter season. The hybrid models combine walking and trail shoes and are designed to facilitate and support every step through a combination of innovative functions and materials, while keeping the shoe in a slim, minimalist design. The Stride models are available as low and mid-cut and are also offered with Viking’s own Watershield membrane as well as with the new, PFAS-free ePE membrane from the outdoor specialist GORE-TEX.
