The new Ocean Star 200C captures the emotional intensity of twilight: The waves shimmer, the sun – flaming red – sinks towards the horizon. Its matte black dial is adorned with the collection’s signature wave motif. A scarlet, unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel at the edge underscores its maritime DNA. Since 1930, the year of the invention of the Aquadura system, MIDO has mastered the art of water resistance. The applied indices, filled with white Super-LumiNova®, guarantee perfect legibility even in the dark. Rose gold-tone hands and indice surrounds add extra sophistication. The day of the week and date are displayed in a window at 3 o’clock.
Crafted from stainless steel with a diameter of 42.5 mm, the Ocean Star 200C is built for the deep and offers water resistance up to a pressure of 20 bar (200 m) – made possible by a screw-down case back and screw-down crown. The collection’s emblematic starfish motif is engraved in relief on the polished case back.
