The color orange, which improves legibility, especially underwater, has become a key element in OMEGA’s watch designs. This iconic hue has already added a dynamic aesthetic to numerous Seamaster collections, and this year it makes its way into the legendary Diver 300M series in the form of two different stainless steel models.
These 42 mm timepieces feature a black aluminum dial with rhodium-plated, skeletonized hands and indices filled with white, luminescent blue Super-LumiNova. Furthermore, the central seconds hand and the indices at the quarter-hour positions are finished with orange lacquer. The Seamaster name, printed in white beneath the OMEGA logo, is also orange.
OMEGA has naturally retained all the distinctive features of the legendary Diver 300M, which have been an integral part of the collection’s DNA since 1993. These include the helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, the waved bezel and protruding crown protector, as well as the diving scale printed on the bezel in white Super-LumiNova for these editions.
The watches are powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The Master Chronometer certification guarantees outstanding precision, performance, and resistance to magnetic fields and is based on tests conducted by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
