Dale of Norway proudly presents the official Olympic sweater for the Norwegian team at the 2026 Winter Games in Milano Cortina. A design that combines tradition, innovation, and national pride – and simultaneously celebrates a special anniversary: exactly 70 years ago, in 1956 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Dale of Norway designed the very first Olympic sweater for the Norwegian team.
Seven decades later, in the same Olympic city, this iconic design is reinterpreted. The result: a modern homage with a sporty half-zip silhouette, high collar, and a timeless Norwegian pattern. A piece of history that combines past and future in a unique sweater.
Comfort meets function
Crafted with Dale’s signature attention to detail, this sweater perfectly combines comfort, function, and style. The regular fit makes it a versatile companion, ideal for layering. The sporty half-zip with a high collar creates a dynamic look, while the outer layer made of 100% fine Norwegian wool and the inner layer made of 100% skin-soft Merino wool ensure warmth, breathability and a particularly comfortable feel.

Make it Iconic
The launch is supported by the multi-channel campaign „Make it Iconic.“ A tribute to the past, present, and future, the campaign highlights Dale of Norway’s role in supporting athletes, creatives, and cultural icons across generations. From fashion and sports to art and identity, Dale of Norway focuses on people who shape their futures according to their own ideas.
Versatile & Easy Care
Thanks to its mid-layer construction, the sweater offers optimal insulation without sacrificing freedom of movement, yet is easily machine washable in the wool cycle. Available in two colorways—the official red and white and an elegant blue and white combination—this 3-layer sweater in a 10-gauge knit demonstrates how harmoniously performance and style come together.
